Transcapital advises 2E4B-Valentin Traiteur group on the acquisition of the company Alpes Frais Production (Pierre Clot).
Valentin Traiteur group, managed by Emmanuel Brochot and leader in the market of meat pastries and savoury tarts under retailer brands, had mandated Transcapital as exclusive advisor to help it develop in a coherent way its know-how and customer base by external growth.
In this context, Transcapital directly got in touch with Mr José Clot, manager of Alpes Frais Production, whom they knew well. It quickly became clear that the know-how, the image and the values of the company were for Valentin Traiteur an excellent base for a synergic diversification.
Located in Voreppe (38), near Grenoble, the company Alpes Frais Production (Pierre Clot brand) is specialized in pizzas, savoury tarts (60%) and ready meals (40%) with a strong qualitative and/or local image. Sales are divided between large retailers, food service and home service. The company employs 70 people and operates a site expanded and totally modernized at the beginning of 2013.
