Transcapital advises Groupe Roullier on the transfer of its subsidiary Charcuteries Gourmandes to Groupe Cosnelle.
Groupe Roullier is a family-owned group with a worldwide reach (sales over €3bn, implanted in 45 countries, 6,400 employees), active in the supply of inputs for the agricultural sector. Roullier entrusted Transcapital with the mission to bring to a successful conclusion the transfer of its subsidiary Charcuteries Gourmandes, a company implanted in Brittany and in Touraine generating a turnover of about €40m, with a staff of 200 people.
Transcapital identified Groupe Cosnelle, a family group managed by Mr Chabane and specialized for more than 20 years in delicatessen-salting [sales of €55m in 2012 on the sites of Ferté Bernard (28), Nevers (58) and Thurins (69)]. This group displayed potential synergies thanks to complementary ranges with those of Charcuteries Gourmandes: pâtés, rillettes, blood sausages, sausages, hams on the bone…
Negotiations were led during four months with the highest level of confidentiality, in very close association with the operational and M&A teams of Groupe Roullier.
